On Site Services

Hearing Conservation Programs – A hearing conservation program will ordinarily commence with a noise survey, but may also be performed independently. This on-site service can comprise of:

  • Baseline hearing tests
  • Full hearing tests if indicated by the baseline test results
  • Annual monitoring tests and;
  • Comprehensive database of Safety Professionals
  • Educational sessions incorporating hearing protection advice.

Assessment

Screening Audiometry Assessment – This is a basic hearing assessment used to give an overall indication of a person’s hearing status. Where a loss is indicated, our trained staff can do further testing to accurately assess the loss of function.

Noise surveys – Noise surveys form an integral part of any occupational hearing conservation program, and it is mandatory to review noise levels at or above 85 decibels and recommended when levels exceed 85 decibels. Using the highest quality equipment the OHP team of qualified hygienists will visit the worksite and perform noise level assessments on site. Noise surveys will identify noise hazards, determine the risks to hearing and recommend solutions and management action. Occupational Hygiene
